I am wondering if anyone has indepth info on the difference between the KJV in 1 Tim 3:3 that elders be "not given to wine" and the NIV and NASB that has "not given to much wine". I don't drink myself...

The NASB in the online Bible study tools has "addicted". The lexicon in the back of my Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible says the word means staying near wine ie tippling.
